• quiet.dat: COP trajectory during quiet standing (10 s, 1 kHz)
• forward.dat: COP trajectory during forward lean (10 s, 1 kHz)
• sway.dat: COP trajectory during AP sway (10 s, 1 kHz)
• lorenzs.dat: phase-randomized surrogate data set from the x-coordinate time series of the Lorenz system
• laser.dat: data set for the laser experiment described in Appendix C.1 of the book
• kobe.dat: time series from the Kobe, Japan earthquake
• oo-two.dat: sound data from a person speaking the phoneme 'oo' as in the word "two"
